The show, based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s book ‘Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom’, brings to life the lesser-known young heroes who believed in taking up arms against British rule.

Filming for ‘The Revolutionaries’ is currently underway, with locations spread across Mumbai, Amritsar, Varanasi, and Dehradun. The makers are aiming for an authentic period look, and Saraf’s new image fits perfectly into this vision.

With the show slated for a 2026 release, fans will have to wait to see the full extent of Saraf’s transformation on screen.

But one thing is clear: he’s stepping into a new phase of his career, leaving behind his comfort zone to embrace a role that is both physically demanding and emotionally layered.
